• Instill in both the local community as well as in hotel staff, the importance of getting to know the nature areas of the country and the appropriate conservation management.
• Implement actions that will enable and efficient management of wastes in order to decrease environmental contamination in the region.
• Deliver awareness workshops for hotel staff in order to ensure the application of hotel policies regarding recycling and waste management.
• Sensitize guests to the importance of energy and the need to preserve and use it responsibly, this by way of visual information such as: hotel directory, brochures, Web Site, signs in guest rooms and ‘green corner’, among others.
• Sensitize hotel guests to the importance of avoiding the inefficient use of water with the intent of garnering their support in action geared towards decreasing water consumption.
• Implement the use of posters in guest rooms targeting alternatives to avoid unnecessary changes and washing of bed-sheets, as a means to save energy.
• The use of bio-degradable products to decrease contamination in the hotel and local communities.
